Minimally Invasive Surgery

Minimally invasive surgery (MIS) or “keyhole surgery” involves using a surgical telescope and fine instruments passed into a body cavity in order to perform surgeries. The big advantages of minimally invasive surgery over traditional open surgery are:

  • Smaller wounds
  • Less trauma and pain
  • Faster and more comfortable recoveries
  • Better surgical visualisation

TVHR have been pioneering in the field of MIS and currently offer a comprehensive range of minimally invasive procedures.
